Re: Couple Questions

Your welcome.. and the simple answer is "I don't know"... I've never played Mech so the best guess would be to pop into the Mech Commander lobby were most of the folks seem to hang, or head over to the Mech Warrior org site. What I CAN tell you is, the majority of the cdrom based lobbies o...

Re: Client login errors

Not to worry about "wrong places" at all... we are still getting things setup here and it was clear that there should have been a better spot for your request to have been made. Had you not made the post when you did, the error could have gone on a while longer, so I thank you for taking t...

Re: CFS

CFS is a game that should always be available to play. It's the most addictive online game I've ever played and I've certainly played a few. It's great to see that it will still be to play on here, any news when though? Um, not sure what you mean. I know part of the problem we have is... we just ha...

Client Program Requirements

In order to use our lobby client, your computer needs to have a few basic support programs installed. This is currently written in VB.NET, and therefore requires a minimum of the Microsoft Dot Net 2.0 support files. If you already have .Net framework 2.0 or higher installed, great! If not, you can g...

Client login errors

We had a little hiccup in the database the other day which I think has been fixed... however if the system doesn't know you, and you HAVE responded to the e-mail verification... then please open up your User Control Panel (its a little link at the top of the web pages) and update/change/re-change yo...

Re: Request Proxy Support

That other client you showed me before also allowed me to define proxy settings, including login and password. I also found this: WebProxy.BypassProxyOnLocal Property http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.webproxy.bypassproxyonlocal(VS.80).aspx Hmm.. other client... We have never done ...

Re: Request Proxy Support

Actually, I don't believe that it has anything in particular to do specifically with Internet Explorer at all... the exact code is directly from the client as follows: Private client As System.Net.WebClient = New System.Net.WebClient() Dim dldata As String = Nothing Try data = client.DownloadData(&q...

Re: Request Proxy Support

To be honest, I've never dealt with proxy stuff... and I wouldn't have a clue where to begin to look, especially with Vista since I have never ran it... You and I spent some good time in MSN going over things, and that link is the first thing that the client does in order to get a list of the lobbie...
